Label I Love: Viktoria + Woods (& How to Create the Ultimate Capsule Wardrobe)
Despite my tendency to mix and match crazy prints and bright colours, I’m a strong believer in creating a capsule wardrobe. Surprised? My philosophy is no matter how over-the-top your style is you need a core collection of staples to base outfits around.
So maybe my basics aren’t so basic, I definitely don’t have the effortless style of fellow Viktoria + Woods devotee Lindy Klim (who rocks a drop crotch jean like no other). But the Melbourne brand has much more to their repertoire than uber-cool attire for minimalist dressers. A huge portion of their collections offer a preppy, girly spin on wardrobe essentials… So up my alley that I feel right at home wearing the brand head-to-toe! So since spring is upon us I’m making life easy with this capsule how-to. It’s all about finding key pieces you can dress up or down, like these eight:
Left to Right: The Midi Skirt, The Classic Tee, The Sleeveless Knit, The Spring Crop Top.
Left to Right: The Cropped Trouser, The Striped Shift Dress, The Mini Skirt and Printed pants.
