I’m not the kind of person that limits the colours I wear to shades that compliment my skin tone, or eye colour, or hair colour for that matter.  I much prefer picking any hue that takes my fancy, quite often bright shades that are shocking instead of flattering.
However there is a noticeable lack of yellow in my wardrobe.  I think I subconsciously realised that maybe it doesn’t lend itself to my sallow skin tone as much as other hues I have on rotation.  But with yellow having a major fashion moment I started to feel that possibly I was lacking in the sunny spectrum.  So here’s my foray into sunnier shades. In a tried and tested silhouette, this lemony skirt did wonders for my mood.
And while I don’t see a head-to-toe yellow ensemble on the horizon, I do have my eye on a few more daffodil inspired buys.  Stay tuned…
