Off the Grid (+ How to Rock Print at Work)
I know I’m usually head-to-toe in colour, or wearing at least one bold buy. But you’ll be surprised to know that I do have a few tricks up my sleeve that don’t involve head-turning hues….
When it comes to wearing print during work hours a monochrome twin set is the way to go. In this instance it’s best to keep colour to a minimum, head-to-toe print is a statement in it’s own right. So start with a black and white print, stripes or checks (spots are a bit too kitsch when doubled up). Look for clean cuts and structured silhouettes like my boxy top. To modernise your look even more trade out classic checks for a grid print like this Cooper St set (or the many alternatives I’ve included at the bottom of this post).
…Ok so maybe you can inject a little colour, a bold clutch will do the trick!
