How to Wear a Printed Kimono

While my style is in no way bohemian, I do appreciate the ease that comes with wearing a kimono.  The relaxed summer staple is a romantic way to work print into your wardrobe.  But beware, there are a few rules that come with wearing this flowy style…
Firstly, keep the rest of your look modern; I chose a sporty mesh skirt and metallic block heels to ground mine.  Next, match your print with other pieces in coordinating hues, like my pink and navy colour-scheme.  Last of all, don’t let the proportions get out of hand.  Either pick a style that ties at the waist, or employ a streamline silhouette below (skinny jeans will do the trick).
