As sales start, Opening Ceremony’s Online store is my first port of call. Their designer reductions are great, but I’m usually most interested in their namesake label, which is really well priced. Clothing is cute, but the shoes are always right on – the colour, fabric and detailing are unique and styles are always fun. They do flats especially well (case in point the spot sandals and the saddle boots above).
Another day, another inappropriately short skirt. This time a summery circle* style. Perfect for keeping me cool during Sydney’s current humidity, although not really so practical in the fashion cupboard where I’m bending down on a regular basis…
* Yes… it just means skater skirt.
It’s going to be a hot summer if today is anything to go by, so I got into the mood with some neon tropical print.
I bought this skirt a while back, before the inset of tropical print mania, so was quite pleased when neon made a comeback too. Of course had to up the trend count by going sport-luxe with mesh and perforated leather.
PS. Note how my hair gets bigger as the weather gets warmer? It’s the curse of Sydney’s humidity.
